Overview

At Screenapp, we value our customers and aim to provide a high-quality service. We understand that there may be instances where you may need to cancel your subscription and request a refund. Therefore, we have created a policy to ensure that the refund process is fair and straightforward.

Subscription Cancellation

You can cancel your Screenapp subscription at any time.
● How to cancel: You can manage or cancel your subscription directly from your Account Settings/Billing page.
● Effect of cancellation: Canceling your subscription prevents future automatic renewals and charges. You will continue to have access to your current plan's features and remaining transcription quota until the end of your current billing cycle. Canceling a subscription does not automatically issue a refund.

Refund Eligibility

For initial subscription purchases, we offer a refund strictly under the following conditions:
● Timeframe: You must request the refund within 3 days (72 hours) of the original purchase date.
● Zero Usage: You must NOT have used any transcription minutes/quota. Because AI transcription immediately incurs computing costs, once you upload a file and consume any portion of your quota (even just a few minutes), the service is considered rendered, and your purchase becomes completely non-refundable.

Auto-Renewal Policy

We operate on a subscription basis, meaning your plan will automatically renew at the end of each billing cycle (monthly or annually).
If you forgot to cancel your subscription before the renewal date, we can offer a One-Time Refund provided that:
● You contact us within 3 days of the auto-renewal charge date.
● You have zero usage of your transcription quota in the new billing cycle.
Please note: This courtesy refund is only granted once per user account.

Non-Refundable Situations


We do not issue refunds under the following circumstances:
● Requests made more than 3 days after the initial purchase or renewal date.
● Any subscription where transcription minutes/quota have been partially or fully consumed in the current billing cycle.
● Mid-cycle cancellations for Annual Plans (we do not offer pro-rated refunds for unused months if the 3-day window has passed).
● Accounts suspended or terminated due to a violation of our Terms of Service.

How to Request a Refund

If you meet the eligibility criteria above, please submit your refund request by emailing our support team at [email protected].
● The email address associated with your ScreenApp account.
● Your Order ID or a copy of your receipt.
● A brief reason for the refund request.

Refund Processing Time

Once your refund request is received and approved, it will be processed immediately on our end. However, please allow 5 to 10 business days for the funds to appear in your bank account or credit card statement, depending on your bank or payment gateway. All refunds will be credited back to the original payment method used for the purchase.
